Sustainable Warmth Scheme

This funding for Local Authorities aims to upgrade energy inefficient homes in the owner occupier and private rented sectors on the gas network. By bringing together two fuel poverty programmes – Local Authority Delivery Scheme 3 (£200m) and Home Upgrade Grant Scheme 1 (£150m) – this scheme is helping fund more energy efficiency and low carbon heating upgrades.

Local Authority Delivery
Scheme (LAD)

LAD aims to help reduce fuel poverty, accelerate the
phasing out of high carbon fossil fuel heating and
support the UK’s commitment to net zero. Funding
is available to upgrade the energy efficiency of low-income and low EPC rated households, including off-gas grid homes.

We can help contractors access funding where
homeowners qualify for up to £10,000* of fully-funded home improvements (depending on the Local
Authority scheme and energy measures needed).
Vouchers can also be used for glazing, energy efficient
doors, hot water/appliance tanks and thermostats/
heating controls.
